Feeding Clinic

Dr. Rosan Meyer and I have worked together for more than 24 years. Using our combined extensive knowledge and experience with a range of feeding and swallowing difficulties; we are able to see infants, children and adolescents in our joint Feeding Clinic where there are concerns around feeding and/or swallowing, growth and nutritional intake.

The assessment involves a ‘one-stop’ shop where parents provide a detailed feeding history via a questionnaire which is analysed and submitted prior to the appointment.

The consultation includes a nutritional analysis including macro- and micronutrient intake via a completed food diary, a mealtime observation including assessment of oral-motor (biting and chewing) skills and swallow function.

Following this, we will provide a detailed report with individualised management plan and email follow-up to help progress your child’s feeding development and nutritional status

Rosan is a specialist paediatric dietitian, who has 27 years of experience in paediatric nutrition. She had her own private practice since 2005, specialising in food allergy, certain gastrointestinal conditions, growth faltering and the whole spectrum of aversive feeding and eating, including ARFID. She been working together with Sandra since 1998; first in the NHS feeding clinic at St. Mary’s Hospital in London and after this starting a private feeding clinic. Sandra Grosso

Sandra’s clinical specialities include infant and children’s feeding and swallowing, including assessment of suck reflex and oral-motor skills, paediatric allergy, gastro-oesophageal reflux, complex medical and developmental conditions, sensory-based feeding difficulties and ARFID. Having worked closely together for the past 24 years both in the NHS and privately, Rosan and Sandra are able to provide a bespoke, integrated and structured programme to help you address all aspects of your child’s feeding/ eating development.
